Original Word Then came Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John to be baptised of him. But John forbade him, saying: I ought to be baptised of thee: and comest thou to me? Jesus answered and said to him. Let it be so now. For thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he *suffered (allowed) him. And Jesus as soon as he was baptised, came straight out of the water. And lo heaven was open over him: and John saw the spirit of God descend like a dove, and light upon him. And lo there came a voice from heaven saying: This is that my beloved son in whom is my delight.
Discernment: Seven spiritual matters here ...1stly ...The baptism "of" John ...rather than "by" John ...of ..John comes of the spirit of God in him ...by John might allow that John of "himself" might have "power" to baptise (as the religious and churchly claim they ...themselves have also this "power" ...eeeck ! Mark the baptism in the water ...was at this time at this place ...changed ...from water ...to baptism in the holy spirit of God ... for water dipping of itself avails nothing ...and there is NO SUCH THING as "holy water " or blessed "bath tubs" before God ...yet of God comes his holy ghost on a willing heart ..plain throughout the Word ...are baptisms ...with and with out water ...for it is of the spirit of God and NOT the works of man's ceri moan ies .. 2ndly ...John's "ought" to be baptized ...rather than "need" to be ...comes the question ...did John NEED to be baptised ? ...as the bible scholiars say he said ? ...or was it of his own thinking that John errored before Jesus ...thinking he "ought to be"? ...3rdly ...the difference tween "suffer" and "let it be now" ...to "suffer" is to allow ...to be moved from your present spiritual comfort ...to another matter ...(in the spirit) suffering to be moved in the spirit of God ...allowing HIS spirit to move you ...4thly ...Jesus "came straight out of the water" rather than "went up straightway out of the water"...question comes ...are the bible scholiars trying to show their own miracle? ...yeesh ! ...isn't it plain enough ? blessing enough ? ...yet these try to make Jesus rise up ..up out of the water ...hover there in the air ...yeesh ! ...even their wicked images ...pictues and stuff shown their intent ...5thly ...John saw the spirit of God descend like a dove rather than "and he saw the Spirit of God"... nevertheless ...look see did my fathers spirit land on Jesus ...like a man ? 6thly ..."spirit of God" rather than "Spirit of God" ...Again Here the bible scholiars ...use capital letters to "personify" (make a person out of my fathers holy spirit ...yeesh ...(they like their "3 person trinity"7thly ..."in whom is my delight." rather than "in whom I am well pleased." read it plainly ...in Jesus ...in Jesus was the delight of God his father ...Not like some father sitting there saying of his son ...mmm i am well pleased ...
