In a dream..in the night season ...I found myself in the clouds ...and it was that above me were white clouds and below me were dark clouds ...and I looked and I was standing on what looked like glass that was round ...and the glass did shine ...as if it was a perfect mirror ...and was round as though a perfect circle ...and there was only room enough on the circle for one other ...comfortably.
Now up and out of the dark clouds did an infant come ...and it was a baby boy ...and naked was he ...and he came into my arms ...and I held him to my chest to comfort him and to have him feel safe ...even so the infant boy did shudder and tremble ...and this so much so; that I thought that he was afflicted...and that grievously ...I thought him to be sore afflicted from the darkness (the dark clouds) that he came out of ...yet he did not cry, neither were his eyes open ...it was as if... he was asleep ...trembling and shaken by some affliction within his flesh ...that I could not see...
Nevertheless I tried to comfort him ...so that he might have rest and be quieted from his trembling ...only nothing that I did ...could comfort him ...to bring him quietness ....so that he could be at peace ...from the trembling and shaking in his flesh ...and he trembled and shook in my arms ...though he seemed to asleep...and I could think of nothing that might help the baby boy and my heart was breaking ...for to help the infant ...yet there was nothing I could do ... And from my heart in woefullness for the baby boy ...did I pray to God for help ...that this infant boy might have some rest ...from the trembling and shaking of his flesh ...
Behold ...God himself appeared ...in the likeness of a perfect aged man ...and he held out his arms and bid me to give him the baby boy ...and I handed the infant to him ...and God held him to his chest ...and immediately the trembling and shaking stopped ...and the infant boy lay peacefully on the chest of God ...held there within his arms ...
And I said to God ...what a mighty wonder this is ...and what great perfectness of love and nurture there is of you ...for the baby boy was immediately at rest in your arms and did his shaking and trembling stop!!...and God looked at me as I spoke ...yet said nothing ...untill I asked "Father what are the matters of this dream ...and who is this baby boy ...that you have so nurtured and comforted ?" and he said "You are this boy " and I was astounded ...and I disappeared from standing with God on the glassy mirror...and my eyes were open ...and I was laying there as an infant nurtured on his chest held in the embrace of God ...at perfect peace ... ...looking out over the white clouds of heaven ...
Now if this be of any helps to others; I know that it is only God (my father) that is able to comfort me ...from this trembling and shaking ...and that I of myself... can do nothing ...for it was the arms and hands of Jesus ...that lifted the baby boy from the dark clouds ...
