Original verse 31:5 and 6
...If I have cleaved unto vanity, or if my feet have run to deceive: Let me be weighed in an even balance, that God may see my innocency.

Of the 8 "bibles of men ...only 2 kept the word "vanity" ...more over "walked in" ..is not the same as "cleaved to" ...for to cleave to a thing is to hold on to it ...grudgingly ...as if God would try to remove us from vanity ...yet we might "cleave" to it ...and measure against "all" the "bibles of men" that "walking" in something ...can be knowingly or unknowingly ...Yet to cleave to something ...is again knowingly ...holding on to it ...

deceit ...or run to deceive ...mainly it is more plain ...deceit is the spring board of a heart ...that goes out... to deceive ...here we have plainly ...that we must not deceive others ...(action against others) ...

as discerning "the weighing" ...a very subtle thing is shown here ...of the "bibles of men" ... 3 of the 8 ask God to weigh men ...5 of the 8 it seems that a man is to ...ask men ..."ask men" to weigh him ...so that God might know ?? even asking men ...to "let God know" ?? (Douay) in a ...does God need men ...to know anything ? God knows every thought of every soul ...even every fiber of every heart ...that produces those thoughts ...

as to the matter of "innocency" ...or the (5)use integrity ...(2) blameless ...and (1) uses "simplicity" ...weigh in your own heart of these ...the one that is more perfect heartward to God ...as for me if Christ shows me a similitude..if i was to look on a child ...a child of God ...innocent is most perfect ...integrity seems to be a proud thing ...blameless seems to measure blame against the child ...and "simplicity" though most children are simple in their doings ...even some are children of wrath and not "innocent" ...

NIV  5 "If I have walked in falsehood or my foot has hurried after deceit--6 let God weigh me in honest scales and he will know that I am blameless--

KJV  5 If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot hath hasted to deceit; 6 Let me be weighed in an even balance that God may know mine integrity.

NASB  5 If I have walked with falsehood, And my foot has hastened after deceit, 6 Let Him weigh me with accurate scales, And let God know my integrity.

RSV   5 "If I have walked with falsehood, and my foot has hastened to deceit; 6 (Let me be weighed in a just balance, and let God know my integrity!)

DARBY   5 If I have walked with falsehood, and my foot hath hasted to deceit, 6 (Let me be weighed in an even balance, and +God will take knowledge of my blamelessness;)

YLT(youngs lose trans)  If I have walked with vanity, And my foot doth hasten to deceit, 6 He doth weigh me in righteous balances, And God doth know my integrity.

NKJV   5 If I have walked with falsehood,Or if my foot has hastened to deceit, 6 Let me be weighed on honest scales, That God may know my integrity.

Douay (catholic)  5 If I have walked in vanity, and my foot hath made haste to deceit: 6 Let him weigh me in a just balance, and let God know my simplicity.

Original verse Job 31:7-8
If so be that I have withdrawn my foot out of the right way, if my heart hath followed mine eyesight, if I have stained or defiled mine hands: O' then is it reason that I sow, and another eat, yee that my generation and posterity be clean rooted out.

the question comes .."why would "all" these "bibles scholiars" take out "right" from "right way"?...all every each one of them ? mmm might it be as i have heard ...that each one of the diverse "religions" of man ...has their "own way" ...or that these might "allow" that any soul goes "any way" ...to what so ever religion or church ...so long as it is acceptable by men ...

Of the truth ...stained or defiled mine hands ...seems perfect to me ...as it is the same as used in the rest of the Word of God ...nevertheless only one of the "bible scholiars used one of these terms ...and oddly enough the others ...look to spots, blemishes,...even blots ...what is this? ...poor souls who might have spots, blemishes,...even blots on their hands ...and believe this scripture of men ..is against them ...(most all folks have these) does this "allow" or have us look to physical "blemishes" ...on the hands ...rather look to the "works of the hands" ...such as building temples of stone ...where people might whorship outside their hearts ...(hearts being the true "temple" of God)

Of the truth ...my generation and posterity be clean rooted out...what is this by the "bible scholiars" ... only 3 make reference to "offspring" ...the others ...what ?? ...my crops ? my harvest ? what grows for him ? and what is this ?? "my products" (industrial (in dust trail) age that we are in ?) Nevertheless ...is it not plain that the point was missed by these "bibles of men" ? ...where if a man defiles his works of his hands ...all that he accomplished ...all that he is ...and all that is of him ...is clean rooted out ...

NIV   7 if my steps have turned from the path, if my heart has been led by my eyes, or if my hands have been defiled, 8 then may others eat what I have sown, and may my crops be uprooted.

KJV   7 If my step hath turned out of the way, and mine heart walked after mine eyes, and if any blot hath cleaved to mine hands; 8 Then let me sow, and let another eat; yea, let my offspring be rooted out.

NASB   7 ""If my step has turned from the way, Or my heart [1] followed my eyes, Or if any spot has stuck to my hands, 8 Let me sow and another eat, And let my crops be uprooted.

RSV   7 if my step has turned aside from the way, and my heart has gone after my eyes, and if any spot has cleaved to my hands; 8 then let me sow, and another eat; and let what grows for me be rooted out.

DARBY   7 If my step have turned out of the way, and my heart followed mine eyes, and if any blot cleaveth to my hands; 8 Let me sow, and another eat; and let mine offspring be rooted out.

YLT (youngs lose trans)  7 If my step doth turn aside from the way, And after mine eyes hath my heart gone, And to my hands cleaved hath blemish, Let me sow -- and another eat, And my products let be rooted out.

NKJV   7If my step has turned from the way, Or my heart walked after my eyes, Or if any spot adheres to my hands, 8 Then let me sow, and another eat; Yes, let my harvest be rooted out.

Douay (catholic)  7 If my step hath turned out of the way, and if my heart hath followed my eyes, and if a spot hath cleaved to my hands: 8 Then let me sow and let another eat: and let my offspring be rooted out.

Original verse Job 31:9-10
If mine heart hath *lusted after my neighbors wife, or if I have laid wait at his door. O' then let my wife *be another mans harlot and let other lie with her.

Behold: Look see ...Mark these 8 of 8 ..all of them ..."bibles of men" accusing women ! ... enticed by a woman...deceived by a woman...deceived upon a woman...when in fact the TRUE WORD of God ...warns MEN plainly NOT to lust after their neighbors wife...

And what is this !??? then may my wife: "grind another man's grain" what ! ? ...geesh ...7 of the 8 "bibles of men" have the mans wife "grinding something" ...??

And what is this !??? 6 of 8 ...and may others...men ...bow down upon her...kneel down over her...bow down over her...over her let others bend...what is that !??

Now if we look further into this pit of deception the "bible scholiars" have dug themselves ...look see the how they proclaim the "orginal Hebrew" backs up their "versions" ...is it plain ...that they of the Hebrew then ...by their own study of the Hebrew ...they can not tell the difference between "laying with a woman" and "grinding grain" ....

NIV   9 "If my heart has been enticed by a woman, or if I have lurked at my neighbor's door, 10 then may my wife grind another man's grain, and may other men sleep with her.

KJV   9 If mine heart have been deceived by a woman, or if I have laid wait at my neighbour's door; 10 Then let my wife grind unto another, and let others bow down upon her.

NASB   9 ""If my heart has been enticed by a woman, Or I have lurked at my neighbor's doorway, 10 May my wife grind for another, And let others [1] kneel down over her.

RSV   9 "If my heart has been enticed to a woman, and I have lain in wait at my neighbor's door; 10 then let my wife grind for another, and let others bow down upon her.

DARBY   9 If my heart have been enticed unto a woman, so that I laid wait at my neighbour's door, 10 Let my wife grind for another, and let others bow down upon her.

YLT (youngs lose trans)  9 If my heart hath been enticed by woman, And by the opening of my neighbour I laid wait, 10 Grind to another let my wife, And over her let others bend.

NKJV   9"If my heart has been enticed by a woman, Or if I have lurked at my neighbor's door,10 Then let my wife grind for another, And let others bow down over her.

Douay (catholic)   9 If my heart hath been deceived upon a woman, and if I have laid wait at my friend's door: 10 Let my wife be the harlot of another, and let other men lie with her.

Original verse Job 31:11-12
For this is a wickedness and sin, that is worthy to be punished, yee and a fire that utterly shall consume, and root out all my substance.

wickedness and sin...is plain enough ...Yet only 2 of the "bibles of men" use the word "wickedness" ...and only 1 uses the word "sin" ...

Now mark this ...it seems the "bibles of men" would bring us to look to the "judgement of men" ...for 3 of the 8 use this word "crime" ...as well 5 of 8 use "judicial iniquity" or of the judges ...when it is clear that the "judgement" here ...and the "punishment" here ...is of God ...not as a "crime" of man ...nevertheless it is apparent that the "bibles of men" use this term "crime" in many diverse place throughout "thier bibles"

and the Lord did move me to look see ...this word "crime" ...and in all the true Word of God ...it is only found one place ...Acts 25:16 "concerning the crime laid against" Paul ..Know then that this word "crime" is only used in the True Word of God to show acts where a government accuses someone of violating "government laws"...and in no way ...are the terms "sin" or "wickedness" before God ...misused to ever to show "crime"...

this "fire that utterly shall consume" ...causes in 8 of 8 of the "bibles of men" to: root out all mine "increase"...or "harvest" or "things that spring up" (What IS that !) ...nevertheless ...as the fire of God is ...Truth ...truth is ...all the "substance" of the man is up rooted ....all that he is ...all that he has ...all that is of himself ...

Comes another lie of the scholiars ...Abaddon ...what is an "angel" of the bottomless pit ...doing in Job ??? ...discerning Abaddon ...look see the Book of Rev ...

NIV   11 For that would have been shameful, a sin to be judged. 12 It is a fire that burns to Destruction ; it would have uprooted my harvest.

KJV   11 For this is an heinous crime; yea, it is an iniquity to be punished by the judges. 12 For it is a fire that consumeth to destruction, and would root out all mine increase.

NASB   11 "For that would be a lustful crime; Moreover, it would be an iniquity punishable by judges. 12 ""For it would be fire that consumes to Abaddon, And would uproot all my increase.

RSV   11 For that would be a heinous crime; that would be an iniquity to be punished by the judges; 12 for that would be a fire which consumes unto Abaddon, and it would burn to the root all my increase.

DARBY   11 For this is an infamy; yea, it is an iniquity (to be judged by) the judges: 12 For it is a fire that consumeth to destruction, and would root out all mine increase.

YLT (youngs lose trans)  11 For it [is] a wicked thing, and a judicial iniquity; 12 For a fire it (is), to destruction it consumeth, And among all mine increase doth take root,

NKJV   11For that would be wickedness; Yes, it would be iniquity deserving of judgment.12 For that would be a fire that consumes to destruction, And would root out all my increase.

Douay (catholic)   11 For this is a heinous crime, and a most grievous iniquity. 12 It is a fire that devoureth even to destruction, and rooteth up all things that spring.

Original verse Job 31:13-15
Did I ever think scorn to do right unto my servants and maidens, when they had any matter against me. But seeing that God will sit in judgement what shall I do? And for so much as he will needs visit me, what answer shall I give him? He that did fashion me in my mothers womb, made he not him also? were we not both shaped alike in our mothers bodies?

Plainly "to do right" ...do that right thing...be right with folks ...plain simple ...again the "bibles of men"...use justice, causes, claims, and judgement again to bring matters to the "understanding of men" ...rather than plain heartedness to "do right" ...

Plainly "servants and maidens" ..."or my male or female slaves" (NASB)... mmm ok thats plain enough ! 7 of 8 menservants and maidservants ...maidens now servants too ...

Plainly "any matter against me" ...or any controversy, a complaint, contention ...or grievence ...If the Lord would have you measure ...any matter is ..."any matter" ...whereas the "bibles of men"...bend somewhat against the "servants" and maidens" as thought they were ..contentious ...controversy (busy bodies), complainers, or grievious

Plainly God sits in judgement NOW... God judges the matter NOW...and (most surely) will visit this man in his life ! ...nevertheless ...of "bibles of men"...7 of 8 use "when God arises"...(afar off ? at the time when ALL are Judged? ) ...one even says "if he visited" ...Plainly the way this scripture is recorded in the "bibles of men" it might give the idea to some that we wait untill we die for the matters of his judgement ...error ...for He is a living God ...NOW Here ...in our presence and in the present ...

NIV   13 "If I have denied justice to my menservants and maidservants when they had a grievance against me, 14 what will I do when God confronts me? What will I answer when called to account? 15 Did not he who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same one form us both within our mothers?

KJV   13 If I did despise the cause of my manservant or of my maidservant, when they contended with me; 14 What then shall I do when God riseth up? and when he visiteth, what shall I answer him? 15 Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?

NASB   13 ""If I have despised the claim of my male or female slaves When they filed a complaint against me, 14 What then could I do when God arises? And when He calls me to account, what will I answer Him? 15 ""Did not He who made me in the womb make him, And the same one fashion us in the womb?

RSV   13 "If I have rejected the cause of my manservant or my maidservant, when they brought a complaint against me; 14 what then shall I do when God rises up? When he makes inquiry, what shall I answer him? 15 Did not he who made me in the womb make him? And did not one fashion us in the womb?

DARBY   13 If I have despised the cause of my bondman or of my bondmaid, when they contended with me, 14 What then should I do when God riseth up? and if he visited, what should I answer him? 15 Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not One fashion us in the womb?

YLT (youngs lose trans)  13 If I despise the cause of my man-servant, And of my handmaid, In their contending with me, 14 Then what do I do when God ariseth? And when He doth inspect, What do I answer Him? 15 Did not He that made me in the womb make him? Yea, prepare us in the womb doth One.

NKJV    13"If I have despised the cause of my male or female servant When they complained against me, 14 What then shall I do when God rises up? When He punishes, how shall I answer Him? 15 Did not He who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same One fashion us in the womb?

Douay (catholic)  13 If I have despised to abide judgment with my manservant, or my maidservant, when they had any controversy against me: 14 For what shall I do when God shall rise to judge? and when he shall examine, what shall I answer him? 15 Did not he that made me in the womb make him also: and did not one and the same form me in the womb?

Original verse Job 31:34-40
For if I had feared any great multitude of people: or if I had been despised of the simple, O' then I should have been afraid. Thus I have quietly spent my life, and not gone out at the door. O' that I had one which did hear me. Lo, this is my cause. Let the almighty give me answer: and let him that is my contrary party , and let him that is my contrary party Then shall I take it upon my shoulder, and as a garland about my head. I have told the number of my goings, and delivered them unto him as to a Prince. But if cause be that my land cry against me, or that the furrows thereof make any complaint: if I have eaten the fruits thereof unpaid for, yee if I have grieved any of the plowmen: then let thistles grow instead of my wheat, and thorns for my barley.

Plainly ...IF For "if" I had feared ...discern IF I cared what "people might say" ...instead of ...6 of 8 because because I feared ...plainly we are NOT to fear what a multitude of people might think or say ...NOT to be moved by "popular opinion"

Plainly ...We are NOT to be "despised of the simple" ...by lording over them ...in high and might proud scholiar...ship ...or in any thing else ...this whole matter is lost in ALL the "bibles of men" ...who have used "contempt of the clans, families, or kinsmen" ...instead ...nevertheless we are not to be moved by our families opinions either ...

Plainly ...if He would have been afraid of any opinions ...or had he indeed been despised of the simple ...then he should have been afraid ...Yet He lived his life quietly at home ...

     Plainly...this is my cause...plainly a pleading of the heart ...Not 6 of 8 ...a signature ??.. a mark ?, a defense ? ...

Plainly ...Let the almighty give me answer:and let him that is my contrary party and let him that is my contrary party... is this where the common saying comes from ?...where at much hate comes at the speaking of the truth ...a person might say "so sue me" ...nevertheless ...Look at these books the adversary has written ...

the difference between garlands and crowns ...these scholiars of the "bibles of men" say they have put "crowns" in this text ...and on themselves ...for the burden of "indictments" against themselves ...discern then if God the Father allows ...and Jesus shows you the matter ...how that God's very Son ...had a "garland" of thorns ...and is in fact "king of kings" with no worldly crown ...even as Job was in this case ...though his be of flowers ...for truth sake ...

Note: like a prince would I ...OR delivered them unto him as to a Prince...the difference ...tween the Truth of God ...and the "bibles of men" ...Again the scholiars have made "princes" of themselves ...against the humbleness of Job they have done this thing ...

if I have grieved any of the plowmenOR taken their LIFE !?...is there a great difference between grieving someone and taking their life ...more plainly ...be sensitive not to grieve any ...

NIV   34 because I so feared the crowd and so dreaded the contempt of the clans that I kept silent and would not go outside 35 ("Oh, that I had someone to hear me! I sign now my defense--let the Almighty answer me; let my accuser put his indictment in writing. 36 Surely I would wear it on my shoulder, I would put it on like a crown.37 I would give him an account of my every step; like a prince I would approach him.) 38 "if my land cries out against me and all its furrows are wet with tears, 39 if I have devoured its yield without payment or broken the spirit of its tenants,40 then let briers come up instead of wheat and weeds instead of barley." The words of Job are ended.

KJV   34 Did I fear a great multitude, or did the contempt of families terrify me, that I kept silence, and went not out of the door? 35 Oh that one would hear me! behold, my desire is, that the Almighty would answer me, and that mine adversary had written a book.36 Surely I would take it upon my shoulder, and bind it as a crown to me. 37 I would declare unto him the number of my steps; as a prince would I go near unto him. 38 If my land cry against me, or that the furrows likewise thereof complain; 39 If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life: 40 Let thistles grow instead of wheat, and cockle instead of barley. The words of Job are ended.

NASB   34 Because I feared the great multitude, And the contempt of families terrified me, And kept silent and did not go out of doors? 35 "Oh that I had one to hear me! Behold, here is my signature; Let the Almighty answer me! And the indictment which my adversary has written, 36 Surely I would carry it on my shoulder, I would bind it to myself like a crown. 37 ""I would declare to Him the number of my steps; Like a prince I would approach Him. 38 ""If my land cries out against me, And its furrows weep together; 39 If I have eaten its fruit without money, Or have caused its owners to lose their lives, 40 Let briars grow instead of wheat, And stinkweed instead of barley.'' The words of Job are ended.

RSV   34 because I stood in great fear of the multitude, and the contempt of families terrified me, so that I kept silence, and did not go out of doors--35 Oh, that I had one to hear me! (Here is my signature! let the Almighty answer me!) Oh, that I had the indictment written by my adversary! 36 Surely I would carry it on my shoulder; I would bind it on me as a crown; 37 I would give him an account of all my steps; like a prince I would approach him. 38 "If my land has cried out against me, and its furrows have wept together; 39 if I have eaten its yield without payment, and caused the death of its owners; 40 let thorns grow instead of wheat, and foul weeds instead of barley." The words of Job are ended.

DARBY   34 Because I feared the great multitude, and the contempt of families terrified me, so that I kept silence, and went not out of the door, ...35 Oh that I had one to hear me! Behold my signature: let the Almighty answer me! And let mine opponent write an accusation! 36 Would I not take it upon my shoulder? I would bind it on to me [as] a crown;37 I would declare unto him the number of my steps; as a prince would I come near to him. 38 If my land cry out against me, and its furrows weep together; 39 If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, and have tormented to death the souls of its owners: 40 Let thistles grow instead of wheat, and tares instead of barley. The words of Job are ended.

YLT (youngs lose trans)   34 Because I fear a great multitude, And the contempt of families doth affright me, Then I am silent, I go not out of the opening. 35 Who giveth to me a hearing? lo, my mark. The Mighty One doth answer me, And a bill hath mine adversary written. 36 If not -- on my shoulder I take it up, I bind it a crown on myself. 37 The number of my steps I tell Him, As a leader I approach Him. 38 If against me my land doth cry out, And together its furrows weep, 39 If its strength I consumed without money, And the life of its possessors, I have caused to breathe out, 40 Instead of wheat let a thorn go forth, And instead of barley a useless weed! The words of Job are finished.

NKJV   34Because I feared the great multitude, And dreaded the contempt of families, So that I kept silence And did not go out of the door-- 35 Oh, that I had one to hear me! Here is my mark. Oh, that the Almighty would answer me, That my Prosecutor had written a book! 36 Surely I would carry it on my shoulder, And bind it on me like a crown; 37 I would declare to Him the number of my steps; Like a prince I would approach Him. 38"If my land cries out against me, And its furrows weep together; 39 If I have eaten its fruit without money, Or caused its owners to lose their lives; 40 Then let thistles grow instead of wheat, And weeds instead of barley."

Douay (catholic)   34 If I have been afraid at a very great multitude, and the contempt of kinsmen hath terrified me: and I have not rather held my peace, and not gone out of the door. 35 Who would grant me a hearer, that the Almighty may hear my desire; and that he himself that judgeth would write a book, 36 That I may carry it on my shoulder, and put it about me as a crown? 37 At every step of mine I would pronounce it, and offer it as to a prince. 38 If my land cry against me, and with it the furrows thereof mourn: 39 If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, and have afflicted the soul of the tillers thereof: 40 Let thistles grow up to me instead of wheat, and thorns instead of barley.

Original verse Job 32:1
So these three men would strive no more with Job, because he held himself a righteous man.

Understand this plainly that "these three" WERE STRIVING with Job ...against a man the Lord considered innocent and virtuous .. such one as feareth God, and Extueth evil, and that there is none like him in the land?...So how is it that the bile scholiars have left this out?...Even that it is a MAIN golden thread to be seen ...and kept in heart; all the time while reading of Job ..

And to the measure that the "bibles of men" accuse Job ...look see: all say "he was righteous in his own eyes" now this "in own eyes" part of it is that wicked thing ...as if to say that Job was self righteous ...

this might be discerned by reflecting on the last time we read "own eyes" ...or eyesight

Yet we measure of the truth ...that Job "held himself "a" righteous man...NOT held himself to be a righteous man ...or as the accusing scholiars of these bibles of men say: "was righteous in his own eyes"

Let us then look plainly to this matter of being "righteous" it is this and very plain ..."right before God" ...even as Jesus Christ helps us heartward to God our Father ...even so does He mend our conscience unto God at the same time ...that we might have peace being made "right" (loving right) unto our Father by the very works of His son in us ...

NIV   1 So these three men stopped answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

KJV   1 So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

NASB   1 Then these three men ceased answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

RSV   1 So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

DARBY   1 And these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

YLT (youngs lose trans)   1 And these three men cease from answering Job, for he [is] righteous in his own eyes,

NKJV   1 So these three men ceased answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

Douay (catholic)   1 So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he seemed just to himself.

Original verse Job 34:17-23
May he be made whole, that loveth no right ? If thou were a very innocent man, shouldest thou then be punished? For he is even the same, that knoweth the rebellions kings, and sayeth to the Princes: Ungodly men are ye. He hath none respect unto the persons of the lordly, and regardeth not the rich more than the poor. For they all be the work of his hands. In the twinkling of an eye shall they be slain: and at midnight, when the people and the tyrants rage, then shall they perish, and be taken away without hands. And why? his eyes look upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings. There is no darkness or thick shadow, that can hide the wicked doers from him. For no man shall be suffered (allowed) to go into judgement with God.

May he be made whole, that loveth no right ...what does this have to with governing anything or any one 7 of 8 ???

He that loveth right ...made whole ...should an innocent man be punished ?...these who are like this are like Jesus ...who judges the Word and the world ...

NIV   17 Can he who hates justice govern? Will you condemn the just and mighty One? 18 Is he not the One who says to kings, `You are worthless,' and to nobles, `You are wicked,' 19 who shows no partiality to princes and does not favor the rich over the poor, for they are all the work of his hands? 20 They die in an instant, in the middle of the night; the people are shaken and they pass away; the mighty are removed without human hand. 21 "His eyes are on the ways of men; he sees their every step. 22 There is no dark place, no deep shadow, where evildoers can hide. 23 God has no need to examine men further, that they should come before him for judgment.

KJV   17 Shall even he that hateth right govern? and wilt thou condemn him that is most just? 18 Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye are ungodly? 19 How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands. 20 In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand. 21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings. 22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves. 23 For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.

NASB   17 ""Shall one who hates justice rule? And will you condemn the righteous mighty One, 18 Who says to a king, "Worthless one,' To nobles, "Wicked ones'; 19 Who shows no partiality to princes Nor regards the rich above the poor, For they all are the work of His hands? 20 ""In a moment they die, and at midnight People are shaken and pass away, And the mighty are taken away without a hand. 21 ""For His eyes are upon the ways of a man, And He sees all his steps. 22 ""There is no darkness or deep shadow Where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves. 23 ""For He does not need to consider a man further, That he should go before God in judgment.

RSV   17 Shall one who hates justice govern? Will you condemn him who is righteous and mighty, 18 who says to a king, 'Worthless one,' and to nobles, 'Wicked man'; 19 who shows no partiality to princes, nor regards the rich more than the poor, for they are all the work of his hands? 20 In a moment they die; at midnight the people are shaken and pass away, and the mighty are taken away by no human hand. 21 "For his eyes are upon the ways of a man, and he sees all his steps. 22 There is no gloom or deep darkness where evildoers may hide themselves. 23 For he has not appointed a time for any man to go before God in judgment.

DARBY   17 Should he that hateth right indeed govern? and wilt thou condemn the All-just? 18 Shall one say to a king, Belial? to nobles, Wicked? 19 [How then to him] that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich man more than the poor? for they are all the work of his hands. 20 In a moment they die, even at midnight the people are convulsed and pass away; and the strong are taken away without hand. 21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his steps. 22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves. 23 For he doth not long consider a man, to bring him before God in judgment.

YLT (youngs lose trans)   17 Yea, doth one hating justice govern? Or the Most Just dost thou condemn? 18 Who hath said to a king -- `Worthless,' Unto princes -- `Wicked?' 19 That hath not accepted the person of princes, Nor hath known the rich before the poor, For a work of His hands [are] all of them. 20 [In] a moment they die, and at midnight Shake do people, and they pass away, And they remove the mighty without hand. 21 For His eyes [are] on the ways of each, And all his steps He doth see. 22 There is no darkness nor death-shade, For workers of iniquity to be hidden there; 23 For He doth not suffer man any more, To go unto God in judgment,

NKJV   17Should one who hates justice govern? Will you condemn Him who is most just? 18Is it fitting to say to a king, "You are worthless,' And to nobles, "You are wicked'? 19 Yet He is not partial to princes, Nor does He regard the rich more than the poor; For they are all the work of His hands. 20In a moment they die, in the middle of the night; The people are shaken and pass away; The mighty are taken away without a hand. 21"For His eyes are on the ways of man, And He sees all his steps. 22There is no darkness nor shadow of death Where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves. 23For He need not further consider a man, That he should go before God in judgment.

Douay (catholic)   17 Can he be healed that loveth not judgment? and how dost thou so far condemn him that is just? 18 Who saith to the king : Thou art an apostate : who calleth rulers ungodly? 19 Who accepteth not the persons of princes : nor hath regarded the tyrant, when he contended against the poor man : for all are the work of his hands. 20 They shall suddenly die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and they shall pass, and take away the violent without hand. 21 For his eyes are upon the ways of men, and he considereth all their steps. 22 There is no darkness, and there is no shadow of death, where they may be hid who work iniquity. 23 For it is no longer in the power of man to enter into judgment with God.

Original verse Job 35:1-11
Eliu spake moreover, and said: Thinkest thou it right, that thou saidst: I am righteous before God? Seeing thou sayest so, how doest thou know it? What thing hast thou more excellent than I, that I am a sinner? Therefore will I give answer unto thee and thy friends: Look unto the heaven, and behold it: consider the clouds, how they are higher than thou. If thou sinnest, what doest thou *unto him? If thine offenses be many, how gettest thou his favor? If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? Or what receiveth he of thy hands? Of such an ungodly person as thou, and of the son of man that is righteous as thou pretendest to be: there is a great cry and complaint made by them that are oppressed with violence, yee every man complaineth upon the cruel arm of the tyrants. For such a one never sayeth: Where is God that made me? and that shineth upon us, that we might praise him in the night? Which giveth us more understanding than he doth the beasts of the earth, and teacheth us more than the fowls of heaven.

Now remember that all these and Eliu are acusers of Job ...as are these scholiars of the "bibles of men" ...Look see:My righteousness is more than God's? (did Job say that?) ..what profit ? advantage ? ..."by not sinning" ?

songs in the night ? or praise him ?

But no one says, `Where is God my Maker ???

NIV   1 Then Elihu said: 2 "Do you think this is just? You say, `I will be cleared by God. ' 3 Yet you ask him, `What profit is it to me, and what do I gain by not sinning?' 4 "I would like to reply to you and to your friends with you. 5 Look up at the heavens and see; gaze at the clouds so high above you. 6 If you sin, how does that affect him? If your sins are many, what does that do to him? 7 If you are righteous, what do you give to him, or what does he receive from your hand? 8 Your wickedness affects only a man like yourself, and your righteousness only the sons of men. 9 "Men cry out under a load of oppression; they plead for relief from the arm of the powerful. 10 But no one says, `Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night, 11 who teaches more to us than to the beasts of the earth and makes us wiser than the birds of the air?'

KJV   1 Elihu spake moreover, and said, 2 Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's? 3 For thou saidst, What advantage will it be unto thee? and, What profit shall I have, if I be cleansed from my sin? 4 I will answer thee, and thy companions with thee. 5 Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than thou. 6 If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him? 7 If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand? 8 Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man. 9 By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty. 10 But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night; 11 Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?

NASB    1 Then Elihu continued and said, 2 ""Do you think this is according to justice? Do you say, "My righteousness is more than God's'? 3 ""For you say, "What advantage will it be to [1] You? What profit will I have, more than if I had sinned?' 4 ""I will answer you, And your friends with you. 5 ""Look at the heavens and see; And behold the clouds they are higher than you. 6 ""If you have sinned, what do you accomplish against Him? And if your transgressions are many, what do you do to Him? 7 ""If you are righteous, what do you give to Him, Or what does He receive from your hand? 8 ""Your wickedness is for a man like yourself, And your righteousness is for a son of man. 9 ""Because of the multitude of oppressions they cry out; They cry for help because of the arm of the mighty. 10 ""But no one says, "Where is God my Maker, Who gives songs in the night, 11 Who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth And makes us wiser than the birds of the heavens?'

RSV   1 And Eli'hu said: 2 "Do you think this to be just? Do you say, 'It is my right before God,' 3 that you ask, 'What advantage have I? How am I better off than if I had sinned?' 4 I will answer you and your friends with you. 5 Look at the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds, which are higher than you. 6 If you have sinned, what do you accomplish against him? And if your transgressions are multiplied, what do you do to him? 7 If you are righteous, what do you give to him; or what does he receive from your hand? 8 Your wickedness concerns a man like yourself, and your righteousness a son of man. 9 "Because of the multitude of oppressions people cry out; they call for help because of the arm of the mighty. 10 But none says, 'Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night, 11 who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth, and makes us wiser than the birds of the air?'

DARBY   1 Moreover Elihu answered and said, 2 Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's? 3 For thou hast asked of what profit it is unto thee: what do I gain more than if I had sinned? 4 I will reply to thee in words, and to thy companions with thee. 5 Look unto the heavens and see; and survey the skies: they are higher than thou. 6 If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? If thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him? 7 If thou be righteous, what givest thou to him? or what doth he receive of thy hand? 8 Thy wickedness [may affect] a man as thou [art], and thy righteousness a son of man. 9 By reason of the multitude of oppressions they cry; they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty: 10 But none saith, Where is +God my Maker, who giveth songs in the night, 11 Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowl of the heavens?

YLT (youngs lose trans)   1 And Elihu answereth and saith: -- 2 This hast thou reckoned for judgment: Thou hast said -- `My righteousness [is] more than God's?' 3 For thou sayest, `What doth it profit Thee! What do I profit from my sin?' 4 I return thee words, and thy friends with thee, 5 Behold attentively the heavens -- and see, And behold the clouds, They have been higher than thou. 6 If thou hast sinned, what dost thou against Him? And thy transgressions have been multiplied, What dost thou to Him? 7 If thou hast been righteous, What dost thou give to Him? Or what from thy hand doth He receive? 8 For a man like thyself [is] thy wickedness, And for a son of man thy righteousness. 9 Because of the multitude of oppressions They cause to cry out, They cry because of the arm of the mighty. 10 And none said, `Where [is] God my maker? Giving songs in the night, 11 Teaching us more than the beasts of the earth, Yea, than the fowl of the heavens He maketh us wiser.'

NKJV   1 Moreover Elihu answered and said: 2"Do you think this is right? Do you say, "My righteousness is more than God's'? 3For you say, "What advantage will it be to You? What profit shall I have, more than if I had sinned?' 4"I will answer you, And your companions with you. 5Look to the heavens and see; And behold the clouds-- They are higher than you. 6 If you sin, what do you accomplish against Him? Or, if your transgressions are multiplied, what do you do to Him? 7 If you are righteous, what do you give Him? Or what does He receive from your hand? 8 Your wickedness affects a man such as you, And your righteousness a son of man. 9"Because of the multitude of oppressions they cry out; They cry out for help because of the arm of the mighty. 10 But no one says, "Where is God my Maker, Who gives songs in the night, 11Who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth, And makes us wiser than the birds of heaven?'

Douay (catholic)   1 Moreover Eliu spoke these words : 2 Doth thy thought seem right to thee, that thou shouldst say : I am more just than God? 3 For thou saidst : That which is right doth not please thee : or what will it profit thee if I sin? 4 Therefore I will answer thy words, and thy friends with thee. 5 Look up to heaven and see, and behold the sky, that it is higher than thee. 6 If thou sin, what shalt thou hurt him? and if thy iniquities be multiplied, what shalt thou do against him? 7 And if thou do justly, what shalt thou give him, or what shall he receive of thy hand? 8 Thy wickedness may hurt a man that is like thee : and thy justice may help the son of man. 9 By reason of the multitude of oppressions they shall cry out : and shall wail for the violence of the arm of tyrants. 10 And he hath not said : Where is God, who made me, who hath given songs in the night? 11 Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and instructeth us more than the fowls of the air.

Original verse Job 35:12-16
If any such complain, no man giveth answer, and that because of the *wickedness of proud tyrants. But if a man call upon God, doth he not hear him? Doth not the almighty accept his cry? When thou speakest then, should not he pardon thee, and put thy trust in him? Then useth no violence in his wrath, neither hath he pleasure in curious and deep inquisitions. Therefore hath Job opened his mouth but in vain, and foolishly hath he made so many words.

Bibles of men ....8 for 8 ...they cry out, but He does not answer

Bibles of men ....8 for 8 ..God does not listenthe Almighty pays no attention to it.

Bibles of men ....7 for 8 ..you do not see him,...

Bibles of men ....8 for 8 ..left out this: neither hath he pleasure in curious and deep inquisitions.

thy trust in him? OR Bibles of men ....7 for 8 ..wait for him ...

NIV   12 He does not answer when men cry out because of the arrogance of the wicked. 13 Indeed, God does not listen to their empty plea; the Almighty pays no attention to it. 14 How much less, then, will he listen when you say that you do not see him, that your case is before him and you must wait for him, 15 and further, that his anger never punishes and he does not take the least notice of wickedness. 16 So Job opens his mouth with empty talk; without knowledge he multiplies words."

KJV   12 There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men. 13 Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it. 14 Although thou sayest thou shalt not see him, yet judgment is before him; therefore trust thou in him. 15 But now, because it is not so, he hath visited in his anger; yet he knoweth it not in great extremity: 16 Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplieth words without knowledge.

NASB   12 ""There they cry out, but He does not answer Because of the pride of evil men. 13 ""Surely God will not listen to an empty cry, Nor will the Almighty regard it. 14 ""How much less when you say you do not behold Him, The case is before Him, and you must wait for Him! 15 ""And now, because He has not visited in His anger, Nor has He acknowledged transgression well, 16 So Job opens his mouth emptily; He multiplies words without knowledge.''

RSV   12 There they cry out, but he does not answer, because of the pride of evil men. 13 Surely God does not hear an empty cry, nor does the Almighty regard it. 14 How much less when you say that you do not see him, that the case is before him, and you are waiting for him! 15 And now, because his anger does not punish, and he does not greatly heed transgression, 16 Job opens his mouth in empty talk, he multiplies words without knowledge."

DARBY   12 There they cry, and he answereth not, because of the pride of evil men. 13 Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it. 14 Although thou sayest thou dost not see him, judgment is before him, therefore wait for him. 15 But now, because he hath not visited in his anger, doth not [Job] know [his] great arrogancy? 16 For Job hath opened his mouth in vanity, and made words abundant without knowledge.

YLT (youngs lose trans)   12 There they cry, and He doth not answer, Because of the pride of evil doers. 13 Surely vanity God doth not hear, And the Mighty doth not behold it. 14 Yea, though thou sayest thou dost not behold Him, Judgment [is] before Him, and stay for Him. 15 And, now, because there is not, He hath appointed His anger, And He hath not known in great extremity. 16 And Job [with] vanity doth open his mouth, Without knowledge words he multiplieth.

NKJV   12There they cry out, but He does not answer, Because of the pride of evil men. 13 Surely God will not listen to empty talk, Nor will the Almighty regard it. 14 Although you say you do not see Him, Yet justice is before Him, and you must wait for Him. 15 And now, because He has not punished in His anger, Nor taken much notice of folly, 16 Therefore Job opens his mouth in vain; He multiplies words without knowledge."

Douay (catholic)   12 There shall they cry, and he will not hear, because of the pride of evil men. 13 God therefore will not hear in vain, and the Almighty will look into the causes of every one. 14 Yea when thou shalt say : He considereth not : be judged before him, and expect him. 15 For he doth not now bring on his fury, neither doth he revenge wickedness exceedingly. 16 Therefore Job openeth his mouth in vain, and multiplieth words without knowledge.

Original verse Job 36:1-5
Eliu proceeded forth in his talking and said: Hold still a little, and I shall show thee, what I have yet to speak on God's behalf. I will open unto thee yet more of mine understanding, and *prove my maker righteousness. True are my words, and holy: and the knowledge where with all I argue against thee, is perfect. Behold, God casteth not away the mighty, for he himself is mighty in power and wisdom.

Here the bust ! see he really "thinks he knows matters ...of mine understanding..yet the bibles of men say :7 of 8 "I get my knowledge from afar"

the question comes ...does God need a man to prove him righterous ?? ...such as the self-righteous do ...ascribe righteousness to God ...

whoa what is he boasting ! showing himself to be self-righteous ...eaxactly ..worse ...than what he is accusing Job of ... one perfect in knowledge is with you. Only God the father is perfect in knowledge ....

but does not despise men;mmm he hated essau in the womb ...as well look to ...NOTE: If you say "God loves everyone," my answer is going to be "I hated Esau. Malachi 1:3. Also, see Leviticus 20:23, 26:30; Deuteronomy 32:19; Psalm 5:5-6, 10:3, 11:5, 53:5, 73:20, 78:59, 106:40; Proverbs 6:16-19, 8:13, 22:14; Lamentations 2:6; Romans 9:13."

NIV   1 Elihu continued: 2 "Bear with me a little longer and I will show you that there is more to be said in God's behalf. 3 I get my knowledge from afar; I will ascribe justice to my Maker. 4 Be assured that my words are not false; one perfect in knowledge is with you. 5 "God is mighty, but does not despise men; he is mighty, and firm in his purpose.

KJV   1 Elihu also proceeded, and said, 2 Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God's behalf. 3 I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker. 4 For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee. 5 Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.

NASB   1 Then Elihu continued and said, 2 ""Wait for me a little, and I will show you That there is yet more to be said in God's behalf. 3 ""I will fetch my knowledge from afar, And I will ascribe righteousness to my Maker. 4 ""For truly my words are not false; One who is perfect in knowledge is with you. 5 ""Behold, God is mighty but does not despise any; He is mighty in strength of understanding.

RSV   1 And Eli'hu continued, and said: 2 "Bear with me a little, and I will show you, for I have yet something to say on God's behalf. 3 I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and ascribe righteousness to my Maker. 4 For truly my words are not false; one who is perfect in knowledge is with you. 5 "Behold, God is mighty, and does not despise any; he is mighty in strength of understanding.

DARBY   1 And Elihu proceeded and said, 2 Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet words for +God. 3 I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Creator. 4 For truly my words shall be no falsehood: one perfect in knowledge is with thee. 5 Lo, łGod is mighty, but despiseth not [any]; mighty in strength of understanding:

YLT (youngs lose trans)   1 And Elihu addeth and saith: -- 2 Honour me a little, and I shew thee, That yet for God [are] words. 3 I lift up my knowledge from afar, And to my Maker I ascribe righteousness. 4 For, truly, my words [are] not false, The perfect in knowledge [is] with thee. 5 Lo, God [is] mighty, and despiseth not, Mighty [in] power [and] heart.

NKJV   1 Elihu also proceeded and said: 2" Bear with me a little, and I will show you That there are yet words to speak on God's behalf. 3 I will fetch my knowledge from afar; I will ascribe righteousness to my Maker. 4 For truly my words are not false; One who is perfect in knowledge is with you. 5" Behold, God is mighty, but despises no one; He is mighty in strength of understanding.

Douay (catholic)   1 Eliu also proceeded, and said : 2 Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee : for I have yet somewhat to speak in God's behalf. 3 I will repeat my knowledge from the beginning, and I will prove my Maker just. 4 For indeed my words are without a lie, and perfect knowledge shall be proved to thee. 5 God doth not cast away the mighty, whereas he himself also is mighty.

Original verse Job 42:13-15
He had children also, seven sons and three daughters. *The first called Day: the second called Poverty: the third called All plenteousness. In all the land were none found so fair, as the daughters of Job, and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.

8 for 8 of the "bibles of men did they insert names here ...instead of the teachings of the spirit of God himself ...for we see that of these daughters ...is the way of Job ...over the course of satan sifting him ...day ..poverty ...all plenteousness...in the flesh as well in the spirit ...or better said in the spirit; as well in the flesh
